A Balanced Approach

Recurrent Energy is meeting the needs of utilities in North America and beyond by developing a balanced portfolio of both distributed- and central-scale solar power projects.

Our balanced approach provides a diversity of projects that can deliver both large capacities and rapid development timelines—with projects tailored to local market demand, available sunlight, and geographic features. These capabilities provide important value to utilities, particularly in markets with strong renewable portfolio goals.

Distributed-Scale Solar PV Projects
Recurrent Energy's distributed-scale projects—5 MW to 20 MW solar generating plants connected to existing utility distribution networks in areas of high demand—are developed for rapid interconnection and permitting. The net result is delivery of all the environmental and compliance benefits of solar quickly, an important selling point to utilities and regulators.

Central-Scale Solar PV Projects
By also developing central-scale solar PV projects—50 MW to 500 MW in size—Recurrent Energy is able to leverage its market-leading expertise in solar PV to meet the increasing need from utilities for larger renewable projects at highly competitive prices.
