Every Recurrent Energy solar generating system includes a powerful, remote monitoring package that captures and transmits real-time system performance and weather data to our performance analysis center. This enables us to:
- Assess the system’s operational status on a 24/7 basis
- Support automated reporting, billing, and fault detection
- Fine tune maintenance and cleaning schedules
- Provide clients with remote access to real-time and historical system performance data
The Recurrent Energy Solar Monitor
At Recurrent Energy, we make it easy for our customers to track system performance — and to tell the world about their decision to host a solar energy system. Available to all customers, the Recurrent Energy Solar Monitor is a powerful online application designed to display current data on system performance, weather, and environmental savings. The Solar Monitor may be displayed in two forms:
Interactive: An interactive “widget,” which is embeddable in any web page.
Lobby Display: A full-screen, self-running video with live data, suitable for lobby screens and kiosks.
Both display options include:
- Current system performance information
- Daily and monthly system performance figures
- Environmental savings figures
- Information about the site, including photos
- Current weather, as well as educational information on the relationship between weather and electricity generation
- Three color schemes for easy website customization and integration
