Operations & Maintenance
Recurrent Energy’s operations and maintenance team ensures systems perform optimally, with maximum availability and no adverse impact on client buildings or operations. Our customers pay only for the solar electricity they actually use, with no maintenance responsibilities.
System Operations
Recurrent Energy’s performance analysis center uses real-time data supplied by our monitoring system to ensure that the site is operating efficiently, responds to alarms and alerts, and completes the routing operating tasks on schedule.
The performance analysis team is responsible for:
- Continually comparing actual generation to forecasts, analyzing differences, and raising alerts when necessary
- Checking inverter temperatures, fan speeds, alarm codes
- Ensuring that a surge or electrical storm has not interrupted the DC array
- Reporting system performance to incentive program administrators and keeping detailed records required for audit
- Detecting patterns, such as shading, and alerting maintenance
System Maintenance
Our remote monitoring systems enable us to quickly identify any problems and to timely dispatch technicians as needed. Regularly-scheduled system maintenance includes the following:
- Washing of the solar array to enhance performance
- Periodic electrical inspection and service
- Testing and monitoring of inverter equipment
- Compliance with warranty required maintenance on all equipment
- Testing and certifying warranty of the weather sensor and energy meters
